Winter Service Project
Share the joy of the holidays with residents from local retirement facilities.
Participants will make festive bookmarks and holiday cards that will be given to retirement community residents at our Bookmobile stops and local memory care facilities. We also will be sewing felt gingerbread men.
This is a great way to connect with those who may be homebound during the holidays. All materials will be provided.
This project is great for groups, families and individuals. Teen participants needing Volunteer Community Service hours are invited to participate as well.
Note- The sewing aspect of the service project replaces our monthly adult/teen Sewing With Julia program.
