More highlights: Writing prompts to goose the muse, four-page handout, “Ask the Editor” Q&A.

Presenter
Laurie Gibson is an editor with three decades of experience serving writers, publishers, organizations (e.g., the Southern Poverty Law Center), and universities (e.g., Stanford). She’s had the honor of proofreading the work of groundbreaking novelist Alice Walker, business guru Brian Tracy, and Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia Inc. Additionally, Laurie taught editing at both UCSD and UCLA Extension for years. She recently finished writing her first novel―featuring British punk rockers The Clash. Her love of story led her to create “Book Publishing 1-2-3” to help writers launch their work into the world.
