Join local author Patrice Vecchione and begin the memoir you’ve been waiting to write. Nobody knows exactly what you know, and if you don’t write your stories, they’ll never be written. Anais Nin said, “I write to taste life twice,” and I couldn’t agree more. Additionally, through writing, we come to see anew, with greater clarity and perspective. In this workshop, we’ll discuss various ways of approaching writing the stories of your life and start the process of writing them down.

Dear Memoir Writers,

I have a chockfull workshop planned for you on Saturday, November 2, which is, so appropriately, Dia de los muertos. Please bring a small item with you that reminds you of on of the beloveds of your life who is no longer here in physical form. We’ll create an impromptu altar in honor of them.

We’ll gather in the Monterey Public Library meeting room from 10:30 - noon.

And, of course, be sure to bring your journal, paper and pen or fully charged electronic device.
