In this creative writing workshop hosted by local author and artist Patrice Vecchione, we’ll glean inspiration from books that have been banned and consider the necessity for free speech in a democracy. Who controls your liberty? Have you ever been censored? Who holds the key to your truths? What is being taken from us? Whose experiences count? In this workshop, you’ll be guided to liberate yourself from your own internal critic (if you have one) so that you can feel free write your truths no matter what they may be.
