Monterey Public Library Friends & Foundation Author Talk- Glenn Church and Kathryn McKenzie
The Monterey Public Library Friends & Foundation presents an author talk with Glenn Church and Kathryn McKenzie as they discuss their book Humbled: How California's Monterey Bay Escaped Industrial Ruin. Humbled recounts the many twists and turns that swamped the refinery project and eventually dismantled plans for a vast industrial complex.
Church and McKenzie will be signing copies of their book, which will be available for purchase at the event.
Series events are complimentary for Friends of the Library, otherwise a $10 donation is suggested.
