Dr. Vanya Quin᷈ones, President of CSUMB will speak about her background, her goals for CSUMB and the STEM courses available for women at CSUMB. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in cell biology at the University of Puerto Rico. Her doctorate degree in neurobiology and physiology is from Rutgers University. 

The AAUW (American Association of University Women) Monterey Peninsula Chapter's goal is to advance women in the 21st Century: achievable only through intellectual growth, equity for all women and girls, and positive change in our community.
