Join us on Zoom for a special Cannery Row Days lecture from Josie Iselin (Artist, Author and Co-Director of Above/Below).

In this lecture, Josie will track her journey as an artist using a flatbed scanner to create portraits of marine algae and the bull kelp forest. She will discuss the research from her book, The Curious World of Seaweed, introducing women from Monterey who were integral to advancing our knowledge of California seaweeds and the shores of the Monterey Peninsula.
